Retreat for Busy Persons: Finding God in Everyday Life- January 21-24, 2018

This retreat is an opportunity for members of the Marywood community to quiet themselves and become more conscious of the presence of God amid the ordinariness of daily life. Participants commit to one-half hour of personal prayer every day and to one-half hour discussion with a personal spiritual companion, who helps the participant to sense the movement of God in his/her life and respond more generously to God. This retreat occurs on campus, and participants arrange the prayer and discussion at a time convenient to their own schedules, so that the retreat does not disrupt other aspects of life.

Contact Campus Ministry at (570) 961-4723 to sign up or for more information.

Mass Schedule

There will be no Masses celebrated in the Marian Chapel for the remainder of this semester.  Sunday Masses will resume on January 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Search Retreat takes place each year in February and focuses on exploring the various dynamics within and around students. Guided by a team of students who have already completed the Search weekend, participants reflect on the important relationships of their lives, the patterns of their own behavior, their faith, and the challenge to live the gospel each day. The Search experience unites students to a community of people who have shared Search in the past and who are committed to supporting one another.
