Zijing-Marywood Honors the First Cohort of MBA and EMBA Graduates
The Zijing-Marywood MBA and EMBA programs marked a significant milestone with the inaugural Zijing Education Graduation Ceremony on December 9, 2023, in Beijing, China.
Three cohorts from the Master of Business Administration and Executive Master of Business Administration programs, totaling nearly 250 graduates, were honored at the ceremony, which included inspirational addresses from Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D., president of Marywood University, Christopher Speicher, Ph.D., associate professor and director of entrepreneurship in Marywood's School of Business and Global Innovation, and Zhuo Zhang, vice president of Zijing Education.
Offered in partnership with Tsinghua Holdings Zijing (Beijing) Education Group, the Zijing-Marywood EMBA and MBA are one-of-a-kind programs, fully delivered in Chinese (Mandarin), and are designed to provide professional preparation for students whose careers are in middle- and upper-level management.

Retiring President Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D. to Address Class of 2024
Sister Mary, who will retire on June 30, will address graduates at Marywood University’s 106th Commencement on May 18, 2024, and will be recognized with a special tribute at the ceremony.

Lisa A. Lori, J.D. Elected as Marywood University's First Lay President
Atty. Lori, a Marywood graduate, formerly served as Board Chair. She will begin her presidential tenure on July 1, 2024.

Community Leadership Celebration to Honor Mary Ellen McDonough '73
During the celebration, Mrs. McDonough will receive the University’s Lead On Award, in recognition of her dedicated service as both a Certified Prevention Specialist and as a community volunteer leader.
