Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and all family, friends, and supporters of our Marywood Community,
As we draw near to the celebration of Easter, we join the entire world as together we experience the Lent of a pandemic, the pain of racial unrest, and the ravages of Earth. We look to Resurrection for healing and reconciliation.
During this Easter season, let us live in joyful anticipation of a new springtime that will lift our spirits and our hearts. This is our faith that binds us as one. This is our hope for a bright future.
In solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters who celebrate Passover this week; in communion with the people who support Marywood in every way; with gratitude for our students, faculty and staff, and their families, I wish you the blessings of this holy season and the joy of being together in peace and love.
Happy Easter, Marywood!
Love blooms eternal when we let hope show us what is possible.
Happy Easter from all of us at Marywood University.
Our hearts go out to our students from Ukraine and their families, especially those who still live in that country.

This anniversary provides us with an opportunity to reflect upon the values we hold as a country and to reconnect with the sentiments that guided us 20 years ago.
