Official Marywood Transcripts

An official transcript is the University's certified statement of your academic record. The official transcript is printed on security sensitive paper and contains the University seal and signature of the University Registrar.

Marywood University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will be charged after your order is fulfilled.

  • Marywood University will not forward the transcript of any student who has a financial indebtedness to the University.
  • Official name changes will not be processed via the transcript ordering process. To change your name in our system, please complete and submit the Change of Name form. 

Marywood University's electronic records for students enrolled after 1981 allows for an electronic delivery option for transcripts that may be delivered within 24 hours. If you completed coursework prior to 1981, you may complete your request online, however, you will be limited to ordering a physical copy of your transcript.

Methods of Delivery

Online | Cost: $11

Official, electronic PDF copy of your transcript: This is the fastest, most secure, and environmentally-friendly way to transmit your official transcript. After the request is processed, your transcript will be emailed to the designated recipient. The typical delivery time of an electronic transcript is less than 24 hours. Before submitting this request, please verify that the document will be accepted in an electronic PDF format via email. The transcript link for the requestor has a 30-day time limit; the transcript is downloaded, there is no expiration date. Unlimited views are permitted.

Physical Mail | Cost: Varies based on type of mail service requested.

Official, paper copy of your transcript: After the request is processed to the designated recipient. Please allow 3-15 business days for your transcript to be delivered depending on the type of mail service requested.  

Uploading Documents

Select the 'Upload' option to include documents to be sent with your transcript (PDF, Word and JPG formats are acceptable). Requests with attachments will require additional processing time. 

Transcripts sent to AMCAS and LSAC do not require attachments; you must provide the related AMCAS/LSAC account number(s) when prompted during the ordering process.

The University reserves the right to exclude documents from your request and will not forward transcripts from other colleges or universities.

Hold for Degree and/or Grades

If you select the option to process your transcript after the grades for the semester have posted, the request will be held until the day after grades have been submitted and verified by the student system. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for the date on which grades are due to be submitted. 

If you select the option to process your transcript after your degree has been awarded, the request will be held until the student system has been updated to reflect your degree. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for the dates on which degrees are conferred in May, August, and January). 

Transcript Holds

Transcripts will not be processed for students with holds on their records. If you have a hold on your record, you will be provided with contact information for the office. All holds must be cleared before a transcript request can be processed. If you have any other questions, please email registrar@marywood.edu or call 570-348-6255.

Unofficial Transcripts

Current students may access unofficial transcripts through their MarywoodYOU Student Portal Account. 

  • Under the Self-Service menu, click Self Service.
  • On the following screen, access the Grades module.
  • On the upper-right hand side of the screen, click Print.
    • In the pop-up, select the term(s) to print a copy of the grades you earned. 
    • Click Print.
