Meet the Housing & Residence Life Staff

Resident Directors
RD's are graduate students enrolled in a Marywood master’s or doctoral degree program. The Residence Directors oversee the residential areas that make up University Housing. There are currently 4 Resident Directors at Marywood:

Resident Assistants
RA's are undergraduate or graduate students selected on the basis of leadership ability, communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills and an expressed interest in developing a sense of community among residents.

Michelle Boughton

Michelle comes to Marywood University with over 20 years of professional experience working in housing and residence life at various institutions of Higher Education across Pennsylvania. She began her career in Student Affairs as an undergraduate student at Kutztown University, and held various positions within residence life before coming to Marywood in the summer of 2021. Michelle is passionate about providing students with a safe, fun, and educational residential experience, and is excited to serve the Marywood community in her new role. 

Erica Armstrong

Erica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She then went to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University. After graduation she worked abroad in Germany for three years before returning back to the United States and upon return, landed a position at the University of Scranton where she discovered her passion for working with students in a direct and impactful way. Being that Erica is a life-long learner, she also received her Masters Degree in Human Resources while she was employed at the University of Scranton, and hopes to continue to learn and grow while being part of the Marywood community.

Lisa Delhauer

Lisa joined the Housing and Residence Life office as the Administrative Assistant in January 2022. She comes from an extensive background in project work for commercial and international banking operations. She is very excited to be part of the Residence Life team and is looking forward to utilizing her skills in a position that has more direct involvement in the local community.

Joseph Pechulis

Joe is the Residence Director for Loughran Hall. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Albright College. While at Albright, Joe was a Resident Assistant for a year and a Lead Resident Assistant for two years. After his undergraduate work, he took a year off from being a student to teach at the high school level. In 2018 he started at Marywood and completed his Masters in Higher Education Administration. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies while continuing his passion for Student Affairs at Marywood University.

Samuel Rivera

Sam is the Residence Director of Madonna Hall. Sam earned his Bachelors of Nutrition and Dietetics at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he was also a Resident Assistant for 3 years.  He is currently pursuing his Masters in Nutrition and receiving his internship through the Marywood Dietetics program.  Sam's passion is helping people understand that healthy living is attainable at any given time.

Waleska Salgado

Waleska is the Residence Director for the Woodland Residences. She earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of Staten Island, CUNY. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Study at Marywood University. Her background includes extensive experience in residential administration and is bringing to Marywood her passion for student development.

John Lukan

John is the Residence Director for Regina Hall. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History with minors in Literature and Professional Writing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2021. While attending Kutztown, John worked as a Community Assistant for three years. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Higher Education Administration with Marywood University.
