Marywood Apparel Needed for those affected by Hurricane Harvey
The University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams are organizing a clothing drive for those affected by the devastating hurricane in Texas. The men’s and women’s basketball teams are collecting new or gently used Marywood gear including: shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, coats, and book bags.
The items will be sent to the University of Houston’s basketball programs to be distributed to the relief agencies in the area. Items will be collected in the Center for Athletics and Wellness between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., at the office of Tara Macciocco, assistant director of Athletics and Recreation, senior woman administrator (SWA), and head women’s basketball coach, Room 207; or Enrico Mastroianni, head men’s basketball coach and coordinator of summer camps, Room 215.
Donations will be accepted until Friday, September 1, 2017, at noon. For additional information about the Clothing Drive for the Hurricane Victims in Texas, please call the University’s Athletics department at (570) 961-4724.
