Prof. Amr Youssef

Amr Youssef is currently serving as the Associate Dean for Educational Affairs, Graduate School of Business at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Alexandria, Egypt. He received twoBachelor degrees in Accounting and in Business Administration both from Faculty of Commerce at Alexandria University, Master degree in Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Ph.D. degree from University of Durham(UK)in 2006.He is a Professor of Accounting and Finance and was the head of Finance and Accounting Department at the College of Management and Technology, AASTMT for six years.

Professor Youssef teaches in the areas of Accounting and Finance, his course work has covered a wide range of courses on both under and post graduate levels such as principles of Financial Accounting, intermediate accounting I, II, and III, advanced financial accounting, accounting for decision making, cost accounting, advanced cost accounting, managerial accounting, advanced managerial accounting, Corporate Social Responsibility, Earnings Management, managerial finance, investment amongst other courses. He is a part time instructor and a visiting professor at different universities such as Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), Dubai, UAE, Dakota State University, USA, California State Polytechnic University, USA, Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, Durham University, UK, and International Program of London School of Economics, UK. Also, he is a key speaker in multiple universities and made many presentations to worldwide conferences. He has several publications in International Academic Journals. He delivered multiple training programs to different world-class companies in different places such as Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Nigeria, Singapore, UK, US amongst other countries for audiences of different backgrounds and needs.
