Fiona Wenger, a first-year graphic design major, has been named a winner in the 2026 PGSF/FGCE Student T-shirt Design Contest, earning national recognition for her creative work.

Wenger’s design, created for this year’s theme, “Graphics Is Lit,” was selected from submissions representing more than 50 colleges and universities across the country. Her standout concept and execution earned her a $500 prize and recognition from leaders in the graphic communications field.

The award-winning design was developed as part of Professor Sue Jenkins’ Spring 2026 ART 314 Intro to Graphic Design course, highlighting the strength of the curriculum and the talent emerging from the program.

Wenger’s work will be featured on the Foundation for Graphic Communication Education’s website and social media channels, marking an exciting early milestone in her design career.

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, recently renamed the Foundation for Graphic Communication Education, supports students pursuing careers in graphic communications and related fields.
