Marywood University has signed a lease for a new property in Florence, marking an exciting step in the development of its own dedicated study abroad campus. The new location will support immersive international learning opportunities for students, with a focus on architecture and additional academic programs.
The Florence campus will provide students with hands-on, place-based learning in one of the world’s most historic centers of art, design, and architecture. University leaders are beginning work on marketing and web development for the program as planning continues to move forward, with additional details and visuals expected in the coming weeks.
This expansion reflects Marywood’s continued commitment to global education and creating meaningful study abroad experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.
