Dr. Mohamed El Mokadem
Mohamed El Mokadem is an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), College of International Transport and Logistics, Alexandria, Egypt. He obtained his PhD degree in operations and Supply chain management from the department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK in 2010. He holds a Masters of Engineering management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). He holds his Bachelor degree in Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
His current position is an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Department of Logistics and Supply Chain management, College of International Transport and Logistics. In addition, he was appointed as the Dean of the Graduate School of Business, Al Alamin Campus, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
Dr. El Mokadem has a good blend of industrial and academic experience. His main area of interest is understanding operations and supply chain management in the manufacturing context. During 20 years of experience, he provided assistance to different private and public companies within different industrial sectors to improve their operational and management systems. Examples of his research interests, but not limited to, are Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing.
