Molly earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University in 2009, graduating with a major in Business Marketing and minors in both Human Resources and Information Management Systems. She began her career in advertising and hospitality before pivoting toward medicine. In 2014, shortly after the birth of her second child, she began taking post-baccalaureate science courses at Keystone College.
She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in 2018. After graduation, Molly practiced in bariatric, foregut, and minimally invasive surgery for over six years, gaining expertise in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques. In 2022, she transitioned to emergency medicine at Wayne Memorial Hospital, where she continues to practice clinically.
In 2025, Molly returned to Marywood as a faculty member, bringing her full-circle – from student to educator. She is passionate about mentoring future PAs and aims to help students become both competent and compassionate clinicians. Working in a small rural hospital like Wayne Memorial, Molly has seen firsthand the difference a thorough practitioner can make in the lives of their patients.
While Molly’s journey into medicine was nontraditional, it was also deeply intentional – shaped by personal growth, professional reinvention, and a passion for helping others.
Outside of work, Molly lives in Dunmore with her husband, Matt, and five children - Jack, Adeline, Mary, Theodore, and Miles. She volunteers with Gift of Life, an organization that holds personal significance to her following the passing of her first husband, John. Her favorite sports team is always whichever one her kids are playing on – most often the Dunmore Bucks, though the Philadelphia Phillies are a close second. In her spare time she enjoys reading, staying active, and cheering from the sidelines at the many activities her children are involved in.
