About me: I joined the Marywood Admissions Office in August 2017 where I worked as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor for 4 years and as a Senior Undergraduate Admissions Counselor for 1 year. I was promoted in October 2022 to Marywood's Assistant Director of Academic Success and currently hold this position in the Office of Academic Success. I earned my Bachelor’s of Social Work and Minor in Psychology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2016. I earned my Master's of Science in Higher Education Administration from Marywood University in January 2023. I was born and raised in Archbald, PA but reside in Dickson City, PA!
My interests: I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and husband, and I love traveling to explore new places. Take me to a beach, and I couldn’t be happier. I have traveled to Italy many times, and each visit was an amazing experience. Staying fit and eating healthy is very important to me. I enjoy any type of fitness but I specifically love CrossFit and running.
My favorite thing about Marywood: My favorite aspect of Marywood is the overall welcoming and friendly atmosphere that the university brings. The students are very friendly and the faculty and staff are extremely helpful while always looking out for the best interest of the students.
My favorite place at Marywood: Marywood’s campus is absolutely beautiful. The Rotunda has to be my favorite place on campus. The paintings are amazing and I feel honored to have worked in such an incredible building.
You’d never guess: I am a CrossFit enthusiast! Though I may appear petite, I've competed in several CrossFit competitions and can perform Olympic-style weightlifting. I also earned my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate, which qualifies me to coach CrossFit.
Best advice: Always strive to better yourself every day! There is always new information to learn, new people to meet, and new places to see. College is a place where you will not only find your passion for a profession, but where you find yourself and who you want to be. Make sure to study hard but most importantly get involved on campus! Take chances and step out of your comfort zone- you’ll never know until you try!
