Steven Brower is the current director of Marywood’s MFA Program for Working Professionals. He has his BA in Graphic Design from California State University and his MFA from The National University in San Diego, California. Professor Brower has received distinction from over 15 artistic organizations; has maintained collections in three museums, including the Smithsonian and the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum. His work has been featured in over 30 exhibitions and he has written 8 notable pieces on topics ranging from the artwork of Woody Guthrie and the Golden Age of Western Comics to industry related topics for trade magazines and designer education.
