Taking excellence to new heights: How Rosalyn Page embodies Marywood University's core values
For Rosalyn Page, success means taking responsibility for oneself and others while staying disciplined and true to core values. That philosophy has guided her through her journey at Marywood University and beyond—combining her passions for aviation, leadership, and service to country.
Rosalyn earned a BBA in Aviation with a minor in Mandarin Chinese, choosing Marywood as the only school that checked every box—from its unique Aviation program in Pennsylvania to its close-knit, faith-based community and Division III athletics. Inspired by her father’s military career, she enlisted in the National Guard at just 17 years old and knew she wanted to pair her military service with a well-rounded education and the student-life experiences Marywood offered.
One of the most accomplished student-athletes of the decade at Marywood University, Rosalyn Page ’25 built a historic legacy as a member of the Pacers track and field program. A four-time USTFCCCA All-Region selection and four-time Atlantic East Conference champion, Page established herself as one of the premier throwers in the conference while setting multiple program and conference records. In 2024–25, she was named the Atlantic East Conference Woman of the Year, becoming the first Marywood student-athlete to receive the honor since the 2008–09 academic year. Her selection recognized not only elite athletic performance, but also excellence in academics, leadership, and service—hallmarks of her impact at Marywood.
Soon after starting college, Rosalyn joined the women’s rugby team, later playing on the national level with the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU), where her team placed second in the nation. She was even offered the opportunity to compete internationally in Peru. On campus, she embraced leadership roles, serving first as the Veterans Affairs representative and later as Vice President of the Student Government Association, where she helped fellow students achieve their goals and strengthen the Marywood community.

One of Rosalyn’s most defining memories was her first solo flight, an experience that sparked a deeper love for aviation. Through Marywood’s small classes and supportive professors, she never felt like just a number. “If you’re going to do something, put the effort in to be present, to be there, and to give it your all,” she says—advice she’s carried through athletics, academics, and service.
Rosalyn also participated in ROTC training at the University of Scranton, where she gained leadership experience through physical training, tactical courses, and base visits. Twice, she studied abroad in Taiwan through Project GO (Global Officer), immersing herself in Mandarin Chinese, a critical language for national security, while experiencing new cultures firsthand.

After graduating in May 2025, Rosalyn commissioned as a 2LT Active Duty Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army. She is currently attending Army Flight School at Fort Novosel in Dale County, Alabama—continuing to take her passion for service and aviation to new heights.
An accomplished scholar-athlete, Rosalyn’s impact at Marywood extended well beyond the classroom and cockpit. A four-year member of the Pacers track and field program, she established herself as one of the most decorated athletes in Marywood history. Page earned multiple USTFCCCA All-Mid Atlantic Region honors in the shot put, was a four-time First Team All-Atlantic East selection across the shot put and discus, and became the Atlantic East Conference record holder in both events. She was named Indoor Track and Field MVP three times and helped lead the Pacers to the 2022 Atlantic East Outdoor Track & Field Championship, along with runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2025.
In recognition of her excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership, Rosalyn was named the Atlantic East Conference Woman of the Year and selected as Marywood University’s NCAA Woman of the Year nominee, becoming the University’s first recipient of a major end-of-the-year female athlete award since 2008–09. She was also a consistent presence on the Atlantic East Academic Honor Roll and a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree.
Beyond athletics, Rosalyn distinguished herself as a leader and servant to the community. She is a U.S. Army Distinguished Military Graduate, finishing in the top one percent of Army ROTC cadets nationwide, and earned multiple national military honors recognizing her leadership and merit. Her service extended locally and globally through volunteer work at Marywood Heights Retirement Home and participation in the Marywood Alternative Break program in Puerto Rico.
Together, these achievements reflect the depth of Rosalyn Page’s Marywood experience—one defined by discipline, service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her journey stands as a powerful example of what it means to live the Marywood mission and to soar far beyond the classroom.
Rosalyn’s story exemplifies the Marywood values of empowerment, service, and excellence, proving that with discipline, passion, and dedication, Pacers can soar far beyond the classroom.
